Discover, plan, and implement automated solutions that improve the existing workflow of the current enterprise Windows infrastructure* *2. Create automation efficiencies via scripting methods IE PowerShell or equivalent scripting language* *3. Analyze, design and develop solutions and support for the MS Windows infrastructures including Server and data center support* *4. Identify and implement automation opportunities surrounding patching, deployments, maintenance and expansion* *5. Ensure hardware and software configurations are performance tuned to provide maximum performance to applications. Work with developers to tune their application code. Review automated capacity reports and take appropriate action if necessary.* *6. Provide 24x7 on call support for infrastructure and enterprise software. Use available resources to research, resolve and/or recommend solutions for the most complex and critical systems.* *7. Implement Disaster Recovery Strategy between primary Data Center and Disaster Recovery Site.* *8. Provide support for Enterprise applications such as Oracle, WebSphere, TIBCO, HTTP, DB2 and Dynatrace.* *9. Work with multiple Teams internally and lead projects from inception to completion.* *10. Lead planning meetings, architect, plan and schedule the implementation of business unit projects to ensure the accuracy and success.* *11. Effectively communicate the goals of operations management to the business units.* *12. Effectively identify and gather the business units requests, objectives and goals and communicate with management.* *13. Automate repetitive tasks and monitoring via power shell scripts* *14. Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain uptime of multiple Active Directory Domains over distributed WAN links & sites* *15. Manage a mixed windows and Linux authentication environment.* *16. Automate Monitoring and Alerting of Servers health, IIS Sites performance and various Win domain services* *17. Secure and lock down all environments using group policies, ACL's, NTFS permissions, and groups at the domain/local level* *18. OS provisioning and creation of OS build for automated deployments* *Managing AD users, groups, Servers, and all aspects of AD domains security* *Desired Skills* *1. 6-8 years proven hands on & recent experience working in an Active Directory Enterprise environment spanning multiple sites & geographic locations* *2. 5 years Enterprise level experience and implementation using industry best practices including PCI/SOX environments.* *3. PowerShell scripting & automated solutions experience is essential* *4. Knowledge of LDAP/LDAPS/Active Directory and Google apps integration is a plus* *5. Ability to independently lead projects in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving enterprise environment* *6. Previous experience providing 24x7 support and solutions for Fortune 500 global company with PCI/SOX best practices preferred* *7. Expert knowledge & experience managing x86 hardware.* *8. Expert knowledge in VMware virtualization technology and supporting software products. Software includes VMware vSphere, View, vRealize, vCOPs.* *9. Experience implementing and administrating an enterprise class virtualization infrastructure.* *10. VMware certifications VCP- Datacenter Virtualization preferred* *11. Expert knowledge administering Windows servers, 4+ years of progressive experience.* *12. Experience and strong working knowledge with various Microsoft applications such as (SCOM and SQL) with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and analyze problems. * *13. Microsoft certifications include but not limited to: MCSE or MCSA is a plus.* *14. Supporting, and administering Active Directory domain services, including ability to troubleshoot complex replication and authentication issues.* *15.
