*Duration: 6 Months Contract*
*Note:*
Ø Should have minimum of 6-9 years of Experience.
Ø Should have experience on Product Development/Maintenance/Production
Support experience in a support organization
Ø Should have a good understanding of services business for fortune 1000
from the operations point of view
Ø Ability to read, understand and communicate complex technical information
Ø Ability to express ideas in an organized, articulate and concise manner
Ø Any certification in regards to support services will be an added
advantage
*Primary Skills:*
1. Hands on experience in deploying Big Data clusters involving
Hadoop, HBase, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Storm, Solr, Spark, Impala, Hive including
HA, security configurations
2. Good understanding of cluster benchmarking
3. Hands on experience with setting up High Availability for HDFS,
Yarn, Hive
4. Hands on experience in automated deployment tools like Ambari/
Cloudera Manager etc.
5. Hands on experience in setting up cluster security – Kerberos,
Sentry, TLS, encryptions (KTS/KMS)
6. Hands on experience in Cloudera Distribution (5x and above)
7. Ability to write simple queries involving joins
8. Ability to copy data in HDFS, execute jobs, debug and troubleshoot
job failures
9. Hands on experience in Shell scripting/Perl/Python/Hive/Pig
10. Sound UNIX abilities involving user management, security &
permissions, LDAP, AD
11. Sound knowledge about the Hardware (CPU, memory, disk, network,
Firewalls etc.)
12. Sound knowledge about the clustered deployment Architecture
13. Exposure to cloud technologies like EC2/Azure
14. Ability to set up VMs for environment set up
15. Hands on experience on monitoring tools like Nagios, Ganglia etc.
Ability to deploy, create plug-ins for custom monitoring stats
16. Exposure to automated deployment tools like chef, puppet will be an
added advantage
17. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
18. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are mandatory
*Role & Responsibilities*
Ø Set up cluster based on customer requirement
Ø Cluster planning and deployment
Ø Cluster monitoring and troubleshooting
Ø Should be capable of working independently & responsible for L1/L2/L3
Support
Ø Should work with complete ownership and handle all issues without
missing SLA’s
Ø Work closely with engineering team
Ø Should be able to debug the issues and report appropriately in the
ticketing system
Ø Contribute to improve the efficiency of the assignment by quality
improvements & innovative suggestions
Ø Should be able to configure monitoring utilities & set up alerts
Ø Should be hands on in setting applications, databases and have passion
to learn new technologies
Ø Should be able to scan logs, errors, exception and get to the root cause
of the issue
Ø Contribute in developing a knowledge base on collaboration with other
team members
Ø Maintain customer loyalty through Integrity and accountability

Ø BE, B- Tech (CS), MCA, BS, MS
