Big Data/ Hadoop Architect Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: Long Term 8- 10 years of software development experience. Strong demonstrated development experience in Big Data and distributed systems, including data storage and management, searching, scheduling, logging, serialization, and modeling technologies. (e.g., HDFS, HBase, Sqoop, Ozie, Flume, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Avro, Lucene, SOLR, ElasticSearch, Talend Open Studio for Big Data). Experience with UNIX based systems including the ability to create and maintain Shell scripts Experience with parallel programming, concurrent programming, multi-threading, database query optimization and indexing Experience with Apache Storm, Apache Spark, and noSQL databases is a plus High levels of energy, engagement, and ownership. Positive attitude is an absolute must.
