The resources shall develop, administer, enhance, maintain and support the 
MDTA’s Salesforce applications as well as support the integration of other 
systems with Salesforce, as needed. The current projects being undertaken 
are the Human Resources Central and Customer Information Tracking System 2.

New System Development and Administration Responsibilities:

·                     Resources shall assist the project manager in the 
gathering and development of system requirements and administration tasks.

·                     Resources shall analyze, recommend and design 
appropriate system security per policies for data and application security 
using MDOT and DoIT’s security standards

·                     Resources shall recommend system design and 
participate in design revision reviews

·                     Resources shall design the data model used by the 
application

·                     Resources shall develop system source code and 
executables using the following primary technologies: SalesForce.com 
VisualForce/APEX, SalesForce1 Lightning, HTM, CSS, JavaScript

·                     Resources shall maintain Configuration and Version 
Control using designated Code Management System

·                     Resources shall, in conjunction with the Project 
Team, prepare repeatable test plans for rigorous testing of sandbox 
instances and application upgrades.

·                     Resources shall perform unit, Integration, and system 
testing

·                     Resources shall maintain Test Problem Report using 
the designated Code Management System

·                     Resources shall assist with the installation and 
implementation of approved new application system software

·                     Resources shall, in conjunction with the Project 
Team, assist with the development of System Documentation including but not 
limited to: Design Document, Interface Control Documents, Source Code 
Documents, Test Data and Test Cases, Test Reports with Results, Users 
Guides, Administrator Guides, Implementation Plan, Release Notes, 
SecudtyProcedures

 

Teleworking may be allowed for no more than one day per week. There may be 
weeks where the work will dictate that the resources must be onsite for all 
S days. The TBU Contact must approve all telework days.

 

*Preferred Experiences:*

Resources shall know how to develop and administer Salesforce apps in the 
SALESFORCE SERVICE CLOUD and shall be

able to do the followings:

·                     To design and manage the integration of cloud based 
solutions and technologies using the technologies like Salesforce.com and 
force.com(API, APEX & Visual Force).

·                     To implement customer-based solutions and develop 
products on the Force.com platform using APEX and Visual Force and other 
technologies.

·                     To provide ongoing code-level maintenance and support 
for all Salesforce.com user groups.

·                     To support projects to translate business 
requirements/processes into logical, component-based technical designs and 
customer-built functionality in Salesforce.com.

·                     To perform detailed analysis of business 
requirements, translate into technical specifications, and make the 
necessary modifications and/or configure for use in Salesforce.com.

·                     To document system modifications or changes with 
sufficient detail and methodology to meet industry best practice standards.

·                     To provide cost level estimate, plan, and or schedule 
with milestones and target dates for project deliverables and walkthrough 
and signoff for all document deliverables

·                     To evaluate the .NET application associated with the 
existing Salesforce.com applications, determine the need to implement or 
provide an alternative solution to performing the required data extraction

·                     To provide coding (Visual Force) for a designated 
workflow application within the MDTA Salesforce.com ORG

·                     To create, modify, and assign permission sets.

·                     To create, modify, and assign profiles.

·                     To create, modify, and evaluate custom objects,

·                     To create Salesforce.com reports and dashboards.

·                     To assist and/or develop workflow documentation.
