*KAFKA Integration exp is MUST HAVE* *Role: ETL Developer with Kafka Integration exp.* *Duration: 6+ Months * *Location: Brentwood, TN* *Kafka requirements* Solid experience in the deployment of Kafka(Apache/Confluent). 3 plus years’ experience in developing Kafka Producer/Consumer applications using Java. 3 plus years’ experience in Reading data from MQ Hub, existing C/Java applications and move the data to Kafka. 3 plus years’ experience in accepting messages from various sources and move messages to Kafka Good knowledge in administration and operations of the Kafka platform like provisioning, access lists (Kerberos) Experience with automated unit and integration testing Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills *Essential Skills:* Experienced SQL Server SSIS developer capable of working in a scheduled driven small team environment Excellent communications skills capable of working with limited direction and supervision 5 plus years production development with a MS SWL Server development environment (SSIS, SSRS,SSAS) 3 plus years experience extracting data from operational source systems and provisioning to OLTP/Data Warehouse environments 3 Plus years experience designing and developing complete SSIS packages 3 plus year experience developing and deploying MS SQL Server Stored procedures Able to develop, test, tune and deploy SQL scripts. Strong understanding or experience with data quality, data profiling and metadata management Development experience on a major MDM Solution framework such as Informatica, Data-stage, MDS etc. Ability to implement the business defined match and merge rules *Optional Skills:* With Master Data Management (MDS) and Data Quality services a strong plus. Experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) along with MDS (Master Data Services) is highly desirable Working experience with Middleware services (Messaging, Service Bus, and web technologies.) is preferred Work experience in Healthcare IT preferred Cloud build experience in Azure is an advantage *Job Activities:* Design, develop, and support complex integration processes/ ETL Processes (including interfaces) using SQL Server technology, stored procedures and SQL program code Consult with the business to determine alignment of ETL with business requirements Participate code reviews, analyze execution plans, and re-factor inefficient code Follow data standards, resolve data issues, complete unit testing and system documentation for ETL processes Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes Provide support and fix issues in the packages Translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems to data warehouses, downstream applications, and trading partners.
