*Title: PowerPlan Analyst* *Location : Princeton, New Jersey *
*Duration: 3+ Months* *Job Scope:* · Responsible for translating business requirements of the Functional Area (e.g., Engineering, Finance, etc.) in to the PowerPlan system. · Collaborates on all phases of the systems development life-cycle (SDLC) with a focus on the analysis, design, and development of configuration-based solutions. *Skill Requirement:* Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent discipline. Requires a *strong background with accounting and finance business processes*; minimum of 5 years post degree experience required for senior level position Requires *2-5 years of hands-on experience working on or with capital projects*, *capital budgets, fixed asset accounting or property tax software. Functional experience* *should include: * A strong understanding of asset life-cyle accounting and processes within the utility industry. *Knowledge of SAP cost objects and cost flows as it relates to; * · Cost centers · Internal orders · Work Breakdown Structures (Project systems), · Cost elements · Plant Maintenance orders · Reporting Prior experience using and/or implementing PowerPlan software is desired Prior hands-on PowerPlan configuration/administration experience in one or more of the following disciplines is desired: · Asset Accounting as it relates to; · Project Unitization, · Accounting, · Cost Management, · ARO (Asset Retirement Obligation), · Impairments · Depreciation methods o PowerPlan Lease Accounting o PowerPlan Month End automation o PowerTax o SAP integration with Powerplan Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in team environment and collaborate with others. Strong relationship management skills.
