*Application Support Manager* *Location: Reston, VA* *Duration: Long term* *Duties and responsibilities * • Provides wide ranging technical planning and advise in a multi-platform environment. • Understands general systems administration tasks including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, system patching. • Provides requirements and understands how to write and implements scripts to automate tasks. • Can perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and system disruption awareness and predefined key processes. • May Review system logs, application logs and security logs. • Data analysis of CMBD data including application to server mapping, application to database dependencies and scope of impact to hosted applications during disaster recovery testing. • Develop a set of project tools and procedures to handle large complex IT Infrastructure projects. • Utilize Enterprise Architecture solutions for required technical functionality. • Use existing or produce new documentation to communicate technical or testing patterns to teams, and ensure all participants share a common understanding of technical issues, processes and tasks at hand. • Ability to facilitate and guide teams during troubleshooting *Required Skillset:* • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time. • Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. • Knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc. • Knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure systems based on Windows, Solaris, LINUX OS’s and underlying technologies such as TCP/IP Networks, SAN and NAS. • Knowledge and understanding of how Application components, such as J2EE application server containers and databases utilize and interact with IT Infrastructure • Knowledge and understanding of Disaster Recovery/Application Recovery principles and procedures. • Ability to troubleshoot and triage incidents Bachelor's Degree in applicable field. *Thank you, * Vasim Phone: 609-336-8111 Email ID: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
