*Note: I Need passport number of H1B Consultant for Submission no OPT for this position* *Role: Data Modeler* *Job Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: Long Term Contract* *Interview: Telephonic/Skype* *Must Have:* - 8+ Years of experience - This individual create/maintain data models, review/understand data requirements, document data strategy and artifacts. - The individual will be expected to perform data analysis and modeling on multiple database platforms. - The person will be interacting with non-technical business partners, multiple technology teams and partner systems in understanding business functionality and requirements. Job Responsibilities - Develop an understanding and document current data warehouses - Create detailed data models - Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for process improvement - Facilitate SME workshops and sessions to generate the content for change and gather requirements - Work with cross functional teams to create implementation plans for approved initiatives - Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and models - Effectively document functionality and requirements for use by technology teams. - Communicating functionality and requirements effectively to technology teams. - Provides all required status updates to project team, users, and various levels of management as appropriate. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills - Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a challenging, fast-paced, dynamic environmentRequired Qualification - Manage multiple concurrent assignments, balancing priorities and resources to achieve objectives, while promptly communicating, escalating and resolving issues - Creative problem-solving and strategic planning ability - Solid skills and experience with using MS Excel, MS Access, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, MS Visio and data modeling tools. - Experience with organizational design and transformation, process improvement, and/or process controls. - Knowledge of database concepts, structures and data relationships - Ability to drive change through process improvement - Work independently on complex and unstructured assignments Preferred Qualification - Knowledge and understanding of relational database concepts, data warehousing, ETL process, requirements gathering and/or decision support tools - Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): code control, build and deployment. - Experience in working with large scale Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Integration, Data Migration and upgrade projects. - Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data - Experience working in an Agile or Continuous Delivery environment. - Experience applying new technologies to business needs in a technologically innovative, change-driven organization. - Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames.
