This position is part of a global team responsible for the delivery of a stable, secure global endpoint platform which includes physical and virtual computers, printers and mobile devices. This position includes management of End User Computing (EUC) infrastructure projects, platforms and day to day 3rd level support. The detailed job responsibilities are listed below.
Main responsibilities for the End User Engineering Engineer include: ● Overall Subject Matter Expert (SME) for end user device components with an emphasis on, but not limited to: Citrix virtualization products (Netscaler, XenDesktop, XenApp, etc.) ● Maintain minimum platform knowledge of alternate technologies assigned (i.e, scripting, image management, group policy, printing platform, mobility, etc.). ● Provide engineering and timely support that delivers a stable, secure global end user computing platform following organizational methodologies, processes and standards. ● Knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and methodologies (pro-actively evaluating industry best practices) surrounding end user technologies. ● Experience with escalation and collaboration with key vendors ● Participate in various active projects ● Document processes and procedures for maintenance and support. ● Provides 3rd level operational support for the global desktop platform. Off-hours support and a flexible schedule to accommodate a global team will be required. Requirements (Skills / Experience): ● Minimum 3 years of experience with a global enterprise-level service. Ideal candidate will have additional breadth of infrastructure related technologies such as, but not limited to: (WinTel, Network, Database, etc.) ● Excellent written and oral communication skills (English) ● Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences ● Ability to troubleshoot complex problems ● Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency Excellent interpersonal skills and a can do attitude in a team environment ● Self motivated, self directed person ● Ability to work autonomously / independently as part of globally dispersed team -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
