*Job Description:* The Data Scientist, Supply Chain Forecasting will be responsible for developing analytical prototypes and scalable analytical solutions. They will be a part of a dynamic and growing team. This role will be responsible for bringing a broad knowledge of existing demand forecasting algorithms and updating them to take advantage of new demand signals and technical approaches. This individual will partner with assigned service line and technology core team members to define the business opportunity, define the data analytics requirements, develop analytical models, share insights and influence decision making. Responsibilities • Developing prototypes and production-ready demand forecast models using statistical and machine learning techniques; • Working closely with other data scientists, forecasters and data engineers to deploy demand forecasting models into a cloud-based data architecture; • Presenting findings/insights regularly to stakeholders, and senior leadership; • Keeping abreast of new statistical / machine learning techniques and implementing them as appropriate to HAVI’s business. *Qualifications Required:* • 5+ years experience in forecasting, data analysis and/or machine learning using R or Python (sci-kit / numpy / pandas/stats model / keras) with skill level at or near fluency. • 4+ years experience with typical data management systems and tools such as SQL Preferred: • MS degree in an applied quantitative field.
