*JD:*
• Configure Mark VIe Control server VMs. Installation of Cimplicity HMI
software and Historian. 30% travel might be required to GE Power sites.
• Configure and test network Switches, Firewalls and Routers with respect
to the approved project document.
• Configure and test OSI PI historian according to project requirement and
supporting Site on Historian issues.
• Configure and test various communication protocols such as Profibus,
Foundation fieldbus, Modbus, DNP3/IEC.
• Provide technical support to software engineers in meeting customer needs
on HMI applications.
• Conduct factory acceptance tests with the end customers and complete with
extremely successful results.
• Support Engineering Services field personnel in technical resolution of
field problems
*Experience (Years) * 6-8
*Essential Skills *
Support on FAT – Factory Acceptance Testing for Controls System. Preferred
knowledge in Mark Vie based GE controls system.
• Strong computer skills: experience setting up Windows based applications
including Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 7, Windows2012 and
proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
• Experience with virtual computing platforms, thin clients and server
licensing.
• Demonstrated aptitude skills and experience working with industrial
network communication protocols such as OPC, Modbus, TCP/IP, ProfiBus and
IEC/DNP3.
• Strong background in HMI application software including Proficy
CIMPLICITY, OSi PI Historian.
• Good knowledge in doing Network switch configuration, Firewall and
Router configuration.
• Basic Knowledge in deploying Cyber Security in industrial environment.
• Proven team player with solid cooperation, flexibility and demonstrated
capacity to learn complex information quickly.
• Sound knowledge in Industrial controls system – PLC, SCADA & DCS.(Added
advantage of having experience in GE Control system- MarkVie).
*Desirable Skills *
• Technical skills in engineering design and construction practices.
• Demonstrated experience working in the industrial controls or
power generation industry.
• Hands-on experience programming Industrial control system.
• Field experience in related equipment.
• Good knowledge in doing Network switch configuration, Firewall and
Router configuration
