We have a requirement for you and the details are as follows!!! *Role: SSIS developer* *Location: Nashville, TN/ Rocky hill, CT* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Job Description* - Good experience in SQL Server Business Intelligence Tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS 2005/2008/2012/2014/2016), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS 2005/2008/2012) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS 2005/2008/2012) - Experience in Extracting data from sources like Excel, XML, Text File, Flat file, Oracle and DB2, Transforming and loading into Oracle, MS SQL Server, Flat files using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - Experience in working with both Project Deployment Model and Package Deployment Model in SSIS 2012.Worked extensively in cleaning data using Data Flow Transforms such as Derived Column, Script Component, Conditional Split, and Data Conversion etc... - Experience with writing scripts in C#, VB.net to create custom transforms to clean/scrub the data, extract data from sources not supported by SSIS. - Experience in creating deployment scripts and deploying the SSIS Packages/SSAS Cubes to Development Server and Production Server - Designed, Developed and implemented SSAS Cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). - Experience in using Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) to query the SSAS Cubes, identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and in creating Dashboards and Score Cards. - Experience in developing applications using Scrum/Agile methodology. - Expertise in report creation using SQL Server Reporting Services 2005/2008/2012 (SSRS) and Crystal Reports. - Experience in Creating Simple and Parameterized reports using SSRS. - Experience in creating different types of reports such as Cross-Tab, Drill-down, Tabular, Top N, Summary, Sub reports, Charts and Graphs and formatting them using SSRS 2005/2008/2012. - Experience with data Service providers like Data Services and Data Aspects. - Have strong analytical, trouble shooting, and problem-solving skills dedicated to maintaining the high-quality standards. Good communication skills, ability to work independently as well as a good team player. *Database Design and Development* - Expert in all areas of SQL Server development including tables, user functions, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers, relational database models, data dictionaries, and data integrity. - Experience working with transferring data between SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014/2016, DB2 and Oracle using built in Import/Export wizard, Bulk Copy. - Strong SQL skills, including writing Joins, CTE’s and Sub-Queries for Complex Queries. - Experience in optimizing the database by creating various Clustered, Non-clustered Indexes. - Experience in tools like Index Tuning Wizard, SQL Profiler, Database Engine - Tuning Advisor and Windows Performance Monitor for monitoring and tuning MS SQL Server performance. - Experience in database backup and recovery procedures. Experience in Performance Tuning & Query Optimization. - Good understanding of Normalization/De-normalization, Database design, Entity-Relationship (E-R) model and application-oriented design.
