*Position: Java Developer*
*Location: Washington, DC* *Duration: Long Term* *Duties and responsibilities:* In this role, your core responsibility is to develop and maintain application code for Web based applications. You should have very strong skills in developing Web applications which are high performance and scalable using principles of the SDLC. In addition, you will interact with business teams to gather and analyze requirements, as well as work independently. This is a senior level position, therefore the expectation is that successful candidates will not only possess experience in the Agile development methodology, as this is a dynamic environment, but experience and solid exposure to many of the other technologies listed below. Additionally: - Works as a member of the Agile Team - Design and developer user interfaces or backend code for internet/intranet applications - Write unit tests for both front and backend - Support other developers by providing advice, coaching, and mentoring *Required qualifications: * - 5-7 yrs of strong experience with Java, JavaScript, Node.JS and Python - Experience working with AWS (EC2, EMR, S3, Lambda) - Experience working in an Agile environment - Minimum of 3yrs experience working with the Spring MVC framework ver4.0 or higher - Knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, UNIX & shell scripts - Proven experience solving cross-browser/cross-platform UI compatibility issues - Excellent understanding of UI design and web site development - Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, Understanding of JMS - Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery - Familiarity with Object Oriented design pattern - Minimum 1yrs experience with Angular (Java Script framework) - Minimum 3yrs experience in other frameworks like JQuery/Backbone - 2yrs plus experience in Spring Batch framework ver3.0 or higher - Experience in working with applications having Oracle backend *Education: * 1) Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field 2) Professional certification(s) desired 3) Post-graduate degree desired *Technical Skills* - Java - 4 year(s) - JavaScript - 4 year(s) - Node.Js - 4 year(s) - Python - 4 year(s) *Thank you, * Vasim Email ID: va...@hirespt.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
