Immediate Need!! *Position: Sr. *BI Developer *Location: *NYC *Duration : 24+ months* *Interview: Skype/F2F* Visa: Any visa (CPT/OPT will not be considered) PP Number is mandatory for H1B *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * *Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered* • Extensive experience with IBM BI (Analytics 11 platform required) Dashboard and Reporting modules • Strong knowledge of and experience with IBM BI Data Framework Manager, data modules, creating and modifying hierarchies, integration with Mapbox • Ability to write complex SQL statements using SQL / T-SQL. Experience working with complex SQL and its variations (such as PL/SQL) is an asset. • Strong Knowledge of XML technologies (XML, XSL, XSD) • Hands on knowledge of SOA, PKI, web services, Enterprise Service Bus technologies. • Strong knowledge of python (pandas library experience preferred) and java • Expertise with integration technologies and processes, enterprise data warehouse implementations and reporting tools, integrating multiple legacy and strategic systems. • Knowledge of testing tools and techniques and executing test scripts to test performance *DESIREABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* • Strong knowledge of database back-end systems, including SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2012. • Proficient with BI, including Facts, Dimensions & various Schemas supporting them. • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills; • Excellent analytical, organization, presentation and facilitation skills; ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines; • Knowledge of database administration, repository management, and data warehousing practices. • Familiarity with New York City’s data share platforms, including Open Data (DOITT’s DataShare) (FMS, PIP, VENDEX, APT, HHS Accelerator). • Working knowledge of database front-end systems, including MS Access. • Experience in object-oriented languages (i.e. Java, C#, etc.) • Experience in scripting languages (i.e. VBA, PowerShell, etc.) • Past utilization of code repositories including, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab. • Experience with developing solutions for distributed architecture and management of large datasets using Hadoop and Spark or similar frameworks; • Use of software development collaboration tools, including Jira, Slack, Team Foundation, and Base Camp. *SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: *References should be provided from at least two former or current clients where the contractor has performed the same or similar work.
