Job details mentioned below:Job Title: * *.NET developer* *Location: ** Austin, TX **78701* *Duration: 5+ months (with possible extension)Client: Direct Client* *Interview: In-person* *JOB SUMMARY* Serve as combination Business Analyst and technical resource assigned to plan, design, develop, configure and implement dot NET (aka .NET) Systems. *PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* - Work with Information Technology team and customers to obtain and document requirements by creating artifacts such as Use Cases, User Stories, Requirements Definitions, Process Flows, Process Definitions, and User Interface Design. - Work with team members independently to design, code, configure and test dot NET Applications. - Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 or higher and TFS and/or Bitbucket to develop and maintain code. - Develop database objects like tables, views and/or functions and integrate them with the dot NET solutions. - Interact with development team and management staff. Conduct status meetings, document meeting minutes & action items. Provide regular status reports. - Create and update technical and functional documentation of the system developed. - Act as the technical expert to answer questions and troubleshoot problems with the dot NET applications and corresponding databases. Able to debug, revise and update code. - Be responsible in maintaining a safe working environment always. - Perform other duties as required and/or assigned. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* *Education and Experience:* - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area preferred. - Two (2) years' experience in Information Technology. - Three (3) years' general experience in doing development and configuration work in dot NET. - Two (2) years' experience playing a significant role in developing and deploying dot NET framework 4.5 (and above) and MVC framework Applications. - Technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (D365 online), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), dot NET Mono would be a plus. - Understanding of Agile methodologies *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* - Specific experience including but not limited to ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, SQL Server, C#, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS - Experience with MVC Framework, Visual Studio, and Web APIs. - Experience in developing logic and implements secure coding solutions to prevent/mitigate coding vulnerabilities such SQL-Injection and cross-site scripting. - Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database and SQUT-SQL - Knowledge of Angular, jQuery and bootstrap - Experience with a mobile configuration such as Mono is a plus. - Knowledge of object-oriented programming methodologies, structured systems analysis, design tools, and software development lifecycle - Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to focus on tasks and complete in a timely manner with minimal distractions such as cell phones. *SECURITY SENSITIVE POSITION* This position is a "Security Sensitive" position.
