We are looking for "*Cloud Information Security Expert**"* for* 15+ months contract *position*. *Please send your resume along with hourly rate expectation to *sibin.j...@infojiniconsulting.com <sibin.j...@infojiniconsulting.com>* ASAP or call me at* 443-451-5551.* *Job details mentioned below: * *Position: * Cloud Information Security Expert *Location: *San Francisco, CA. *Duration: *15+ months *Client Name: *Direct Client *Scope of Work :* - Support the execution of cybersecurity functions across the organization’s programs and services. - Ensure that the business units are following appropriate information security practices in the development, implementation and ongoing support & administration of applications and services maintained by the organization. - Participate in developing processes around the implementation and maintenance of the Judicial Council of California's IncidentResponse Plan and related documentation. - Establish procedures for IT staff to interact with and take direction from security platforms such as: vulnerability scanners, threat management portal, log review and a SOC vendor. - Manage information security threats and incidents and functions as the lead resource on the organization’s incident responseteam. - Work to ensure that the organization’s data and information assets are appropriately protected, and that vulnerabilities are appropriately identified and mitigated. - Support outreach functions that share knowledge and best practices as part of a coordinated effort to continually improve the effectiveness of local information security programs within California’s Judicial Branch. - Prepare and present researched technologies, proposed standards, policies, and various analysis as requested. - Assist Judicial Council IT teams in technical issue identification and resolution between the Judicial Council and vendors as needed. - Establish technology standards and policies, conducting research into a variety of technologies as required. - Provide technical leadership and direction for security discussions and projects as needed. - Preparation and submission of bi-weekly and monthly status reports. *Required Skills :* Five or more years of experience working in a field related to information security, with knowledge and familiarity of data center operations, network operations, and solution design, development & deployment methodologies. Specifically: - In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following: IT networks, servers, cloud and on premises computing solutions - Strongly familiar with security solutions in the areas of IDS/IPS, firewalls, proxies, anti-virus/malware, SIEM, penetration testing, NAC, and VPN - Proficient with incident response procedure development, management, and documentation - Knowledge of systems auditing standards and procedures - Experience with IT frameworks, policy matrices, standards development, and procedural documentation - Ability to work with system owners to help them develop and document plans to mitigate vulnerabilities - Business impact analysis and risk management experience *Desired Skills :* - Obtained or actively pursuing: Security+, CSA+, CCSP, CISSP or other security industry certifications - Experience with securing cloud technologies *Thanks & Regards,* *Sibin John* IT Recruiter Infojini, Inc.
