*Our Client is seeking a Java Developer for an extendable 6-month Contract, or Contract-to-Hire position in San Jose, CA. * *Summary:* • *Build and support algorithm and application logic for product platform, in Java * • *Develop and support multi-tiered systems to capture data 24/7, supporting millions of devices, making data accessible At Scale via API’s and front-end web systems* • *Develop, System Design, Architect, and make technical decisions, add new features (like pop-ups or streaming) & API’s, using tools and collaborating w/ QA and DevOps Teams; tweak and add use-cases* *Required Skills:* • *5 Keys: Java, Scaling, Big Data, Kafka, Multi-Threading* • *Java or C – based applications on cloud * § *C++, C, or Python Dev/Programming exp. may be considered* § *GO, a new replicated version of Java – experience ok* § *If other language exp. rather than Java, must understand data structures very well* § *Must have strong coding methodologies knowledge and able to speak clearly about it* § *Deep understanding of the workings of the code* * • Multi-Thread Java Dev exp. required* * • Internals understanding must be strong* • *Back-end experience must be very strong* • *Server-Side w/ AWS interface* • *RDBMS / Databases experience – must be strong w/ tools like Cassandra or NoSQL* • *Kafka exp. required – must be highly experienced OR have similar exp. w/ Rabbit or a similar tool, for AWS / Cloud interface.
