We have an urgent requirement. *Role –* *Windows admin with power shell exp* *Location –* *Minneapolis, MN* *Duration – 12+ months* *Job description:* The top things they need are: Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux and Powershell (for automation) .Responsibilities: · Individual will work with a team as the primary infrastructure engineer and have hands on Websphere experience. · Tasks will include requesting and provisioning application and database servers. Installation and configure of various software components on servers. · Finally troubleshoot and support applications as they move from testing into a production environment. · May include similar type of tasks from related environments as time permits. · Work with software vendors as needed to solve problems and facilitate software stability and migration activity. · This person will participate in a daily stand-up and operate in a Scrum-ban type of work style. The candidate should have the below qualifications as well as the qualities you understand we value (humility, aptitude, drive, and emotional intelligence) Base Expectations: · The candidate will utilize automation capabilities when applicable. · Foster a culture of innovation and cross-communication. · Work with product lead to ensure standards and security protocols are being followed. · Strong communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. · Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and collaborate with team members. Required skills: · Basic infrastructure engineering skills. · Significant experience in working with Windows servers. · Experience with Active Directory. · Significant PowerShell scripting experience. Desired skills: · Experience with Thycotic Secret Server. · Experience with Chef is a plus. · Experience with source configuration management, specifically TFS/Azure DevOps. · Experience with deployment tools, specifically Octopus or Azure DevOps Release Management.
