*JOB DESCRIPTION:* Seeking a Chef Developer who will be required to provide an extensive understanding of Chef Architecture and processes. Candidates will interact with internal/external technical and functional groups to form a cohesive project team. *ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Review and provide input on program Chef architecture and best practices - Design and create new Chef code within an existing framework and using existing Chef coding standards - Update existing Chef code within an existing framework and using existing Chef coding standards - Coordinate work with other team members as directed by team lead - Use Bitbucket (Git) to version control Chef code changes - Document changes and rationale in Chef code, Bitbucket and in Confluence to promote knowledge sharing and a strong team dynamic - Perform code reviews as part of team pull requests to ensure sharing of knowledge and best practices - Use and update Test-Kitchen and Docker as necessary to provide fast feedback on code quality - Troubleshoot deployment issues in AWS and in on-premise labs *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* - Bachelor's Degree required - Strong development via Chef/Puppet - Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps tooling, primarily Chef (Puppet and Ansible a plus) - Experience developing and debugging applications deployed on Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, IIS. - Demonstrated knowledge of Integration tools including Jenkins, TeamCity, TFS, Ant, Maven, and Gradle - OBIEE reporting and PL/SQL. - Solid OO programming in C++, J2EE, or scripting via Perl, Python, etc. - Performance monitoring development via JMeter or like technology. - SOA and web services development. - Experience in Azure/AWS/VMware Clouds - Certified Java Programmer Thanks, -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
