*Role: Senior security Engineer-Firewall Engineer* *Location: Westborough MA*
*Duration: 6+ MOnths* *Working Hours – Open for 24 X 7 operations * *GC AND USC ONLY * *Job Description:* The Senior Security Systems Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of technical systems and controls necessary to safeguard enterprise information and assets. The Senior Security Systems Engineer must work directly with other IT staff for the purpose of protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of proprietary, personal, and privileged data. *Primary Responsibilities:* - Develop and implement network security standards, procedures, and processes - Ensure optimal system performance by designing, implementing and maintaining system configuration (i.e. firewalls, servers, F5, and other security tools, etc.). - Responsibilities include debugging, configuring, tuning, or changing system parameters. - Work cross-functionally within the company and with outside vendors to coordinate updates to technology to meet current and long-term business needs. - Level 2 Support for all security tools - Monitor logs/reports from servers, firewalls, intrusion detection, network traffic, Email, Internet usage, access administration, for unusual or suspicious activity/violations, interprets activity and recommend plans for resolution. - Perform vulnerability scans and report findings to appropriate departments. - Perform incident response - Provide security support/recommendations for IT projects. - Develop security diagrams, reports, policies, and User Awareness training. - Research security vulnerabilities, issues, and new solutions. - Other duties as assigned. *Required Skills:* - *Ability to quickly respond to customer requests.* - *4+ years of experience with managing enterprise firewall solutions.* - *Hands-on Check Point and Cisco ASA experience with a deep technical understanding of these two vendor product lines.* - Experience with security technologies such as Security and Information Event Management (SIEM), Data Loss Prevention, Authentication, and/or Identity and Access Management is highly desirable. - Expert-level understanding of firewall logs and validate traffic to build access rules. - Create diagrams, high level, and low level, of firewalls in the data center and DMZ *Desired Skills:* - Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA, CCNP). - Working knowledge of Cisco Security Manager and Check Point SmartEvent - Experience with anti-malware products (McAfee, Sophos, Check Point) and Zero-Day prevention tools (Check Point Sandblast Agent, Carbon Black) - IPSEC VPN troubleshooting. - Experience with change control policy and procedures -- -- *Thanks & Regards,* *Veer Partap* *IT Recruiter* *Desk:732-645-1917,**Direct: 732-**884-4592* *veerpartaphmgamer...@gmail.com <veerpar...@hmgamerica.com>* *www.hmgamerica.com <http://www.hmgamerica.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
