Client Needs:

*                     Migrate Task Sequence from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

*                     Patch Management, Deployment of monthly Microsoft and
third-party patches via SCCM.

*                     Exp with Active Directory, Windows Servers 2012 R2 and
2016, SQL Servers, IIS Web Servers.

*                     Creating, managing and troubleshooting of GPO's.

*                     Exp with ForeScout CounterACT and Nexpose
Vulnerability Management.

*                     Exp with Backup Management solution (System Center
Data Protection Manager)


Duties:

*                     Monitor and coordinate all data system operations,
including security procedures, and liaison with end-users.

*                     Ensure that necessary system backups are performed,
and storage and rotation of backups are accomplished.

*                     Monitor and maintain records of system performance and
capacity to arrange vendor services or other actions for reconfiguration and
anticipate requirements for system expansion.

*                     Assist managers to monitor and comply with State data
security requirements.

*                     Coordinate software development, user training,
network management and minor installation and repair of equipment.


Education:

*                     An associate degree from an accredited college or
university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other
related technical disciplines.

*                     A Bachelor's Degree in one of the above disciplines
equals one-year specialized and two (2) years of general experience.

*                     An additional year of specialized experience may be
substituted for the required education.

*                     General Experience: Two (2) years of experience in a
computer-related field.

*                     Specialized Experience: One (1) year of experience
administering multi-user, shared processor systems and data communications
networks.


Responsibilities & Tasks:

*                     System Administrators - Recurring Daily/ Weekly/
Monthly Duties

*                     Monitor the performance of physical and virtual
servers, server clusters, and databases (SQL and Oracle) to proactively
identify and fix potential issues and optimize the configuration.

*                     Verify system backups are complete and not corrupted.

*                     Perform backups of all application data on a
daily/weekly/monthly basis, including tape changes and cleaning tape drives.

*                     Add, change or delete user groups and accounts
including network, internet, share drive, and application access.

*                     Provide customer service by answering user questions
and providing guidance on system operation.

*                     Troubleshoot and fix hardware and software issues.

*                     Schedule functions such as scheduling backups and
deploying software.

*                     Setup and maintenance of automatic aging, archiving
processes, and file imports from various sources.

*                     Use automated tools to monitor operating systems to
ensure optimal configuration and make adjustments as necessary.

*                     Use automated tools to monitor the performance of
physical and virtual servers and server clusters to proactively identify and
fix potential issues and optimize the configuration.

*                     Use automated tools to monitor the integrity of the
systems and perform preventive maintenance and tuning of all servers and
peripheral hardware.

*                     Monitor available RAID on systems and optical jukebox
space to proactively identify and fix potential issues and optimize the
configuration.

*                     Submit Service Requests (SR's) and/or Change Requests
(CR's) for any new work to be done in any development, test or production
environment.

*                     Create or respond to Service Requests (SR's) and/or
Change Requests (CR's) to fix any problems identified in a development, test
or production environment within the SLA defined in this RFP.

*                     Coordinate with vendors to address warranty-related
issues with hardware/software.

*                     The TO Contractor shall handle the problem until
resolved. The TO Contractor may work with several vendors to resolve issues.

*                     Coordinate system outage communications with MVA
Business Units for system revisions, power outages, software upgrades, and
fixes.

*                     Configure application software to meet business
requirements.

*                     Test and install software patches, hotfixes, service
packs and upgrades on servers to ensure client application compatibility of
upgrades with existing system configuration prior to upgrading.

*                     Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies to
meet changing business needs.

*                     Document problems with software and hardware in the
Maximo Service Desk application including service-related requests such as
software/hardware installations or other non-emergency requests.

*                     Perform exception processing including identifying,
reporting and documenting any system problems.

*                     Perform analysis to determine if the problem is user
or system error.

*                     Reboot servers as necessary to correct performance
issues.

*                     Monitor load on each of the servers and make
recommendations for upgrades as necessary.

*                     Perform component calibration including monitor and
adjust component configuration with documented values.

*                     Perform standard Windows server domain administration
including, but not limited to, creating, maintaining, deleting user
accounts, group directories, and applying security and group policies.

*                     Analyze and correct issues found as a result of
security vulnerability scans or penetration tests.

*                     Install, configure, and upgrade physical and virtual
managed servers and workstations.

*                     Convert physical servers to a virtual server as
needed.

*                     Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades.

*                     Test the restore process from system backups on a
quarterly basis.

*                     Modify the scheduling features within Windows Server
Update Service to deploy Microsoft's monthly patches for the DLS
application.

*                     Configure local policy settings on Windows servers and
workstations.

*                     Install, configure and update SAN arrays.

*                     Configure and troubleshoot HP's UPS 2200 with an
extended battery module.

*                     Setup an executable as a service.

*                     Create scripts using Visual Studio 2008/2010 and
future versions to deploy files to servers and workstations.

*                     Use Active Directory to configure administrative
templates.

*                     Use Active Directory to create GPOs for security
lockdowns.

*                     Use Active Directory to create GPOs for the
installation of software.

*                     Deploy software using Microsoft SCCM.

*                     Setup software for use in the SCCM software store.

*                     Provide support for implementing system changes due to
legislative mandates (a non-recurring duty).

*                     All other system administration tasks as assigned.
