We have an urgent requirement. Role: SharePoint consultant *Location: * *Minneapolis, MN Duration: 6+ months * *Job Description:* Work as a development resource to mirgrate and implement SharePoint functionality and features as defined by the HSPHD SharePoint team within the SharePoint Online framework. *1. **Scope of services/description of work to be performed * · Assist in migrating the current Share 2016 Sites to SharePoint Online (Azure). · Collaborate with HSPHD SCA’s to analyze business requirements and implement SharePoint solutions. · Design and create custom solutions to meet business needs. · Improve usability, and enable more effective content sharing across the enterprise. *2. **Specific skills/experience required: * Good working understanding of on-premise Microsoft Infrastructure technologies · Good understanding of Azure Active Directory fundamentals · Experiece working in a hybrid SP environment including SP 2016 on-prem and SP online (Azure) · Experience with migrating to SP online includng knowledge of the ShareGate migration tool. · Experience working with Mircrosoft Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), SharePoint Development Framework (SPFx), Teams, and JSON. · Knowledge of, and experience with, user interface and user experience design patterns in desktop software, websites and mobile applications · Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills · Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences at various levels of the organization · Ability to translate business requirements in the technical specifications · Must be able to work in Agile environment especially with Scrum methodology · Understanding of common modern web front-end frameworks · 5+ SharePoint Solution Designer/Developer and Information Architect in a large SharePoint setup of multiple SCAs and SOs. Excellent knowledge of designing and building solution using workflows in SharePoint Online. · 5 years’ experience with SharePoint workflows, taxonomy creation, including metadata, content classification, controlled vocabularies and tagging systems, content architecture (content types, metadata requirements and search configuration recommendations (best bets, thesaurus, search UI). · Experience working in a government tenant preferred. *3. **Project deliverables:* · Successful mirgration of SharePoint 2016 sites to SharePoint Online.
