State which you consider to be the most effective. - comics - books - radio - television - film - theatre Books have been the dominant tool for carrying information. While technology advances, other medias such as radio and television also came into people's daily lives. These three medias all have their advantages and disadvantages. As mentioned above, among these three medias, books have the longest history. It was almost the only way to convey information. For this reason, if people want to retrieve historical information before radio and television were invented, the book is probably the only source we can find out from. For example, if we want to know who is the first emperor in China, we need to research the history books. Although we can get this from radio or television too, the original place that it comes out is the book. Books are also the most ideal media to record the more complicated information. For instance, it is hard to present a thesis for doctor's degree through radio or television. Moreover, information passed on by radio or television cannot be stored. Once we hear or watch a news, it passes by. And we can hardly access it again. But for books, we can review it at any time later. The good side of radio is that we can listen to a radio program almost anywhere, even while driving a car. Books or television cannot make it. Take me as an example, being not willing to waste my time when taking a bus, I always carry a pocket-radio with me and listen to the BBC program. But the circumstances where we are not able to read books are fairly rare. All things considered, in my opinion, books still remain the most effective way for conveying information. However, it needs to be more varied to meet the a wide range of requirements of different people as well. --------------------------------- It's here! Your new message!
