Question1:

Marketing researchers have found that, because many residents of the
Southeast do not share the same ethnic heritage as Northeasterners,
the two varieties of commercially prepared coleslaw most popular in
New York City and Boston are virtually ignored by consumers in
Richmond and Raleigh.

(A) because many residents of the Southeast do not share the same
ethnic heritage as
((C) because many residents of the Southeast do not have the same
ethnic heritage as

Why is A wrong and C right? "share the same as" is wrong?

Question 2:

Although it claims to delve into political issues, television can be
superficial such as when each of the three major networks broadcast
exactly the same statement from a political candidate.

(A) superficial such as when each of the three major networks
(B) superficial, as can sometimes occur if all of the three major
networks
(C) superficial if the three major networks all
(D) superficial whenever each of the three major networks
(E) superficial, as when the three major networks each

Why is the answer E? Isn't that wrong because it is saying "three
major networks each broadcast" but should be "broadcasts"
