I understand what you are saying, but the requirements of Cosign clearly
states that we need Kerberos 5 in order to talk to Active Directory.

So if we didn't need krb5, what *DO* we need?

Those 'missing symbol' errors are coming from linking against Heimdal,
not MIT Kerberos. It sounds to be like you are building for one, but
linking with the other.
