Hello, Rita. I've taken the liberty of sending this reply to both County
Tyrone lists, as there are sure to be others who will be able to help one or
both of us.

My great-grandparents William GRAHAM (c1828-1895) and Sarah CARNWATH (c1833-1914)
were married in the Leckpatrick Presbyterian Church, Artigarvan (near Strabane) in
Feb 1855 and almost immediately migrated to Australia. Arriving in what is now
Queensland, they spent several years travelling through the NSW goldfields (they
seemed to have more luck having children than finding gold <g>) before settling
in Grenfell (central west NSW) and helping to establish wheat-growing there.

William's parents were Hammond GRAHAM (???-???) (in 1855, he said he was Pay Master
Sergeant in the 35th Regiment, British Army) and Nancy (???-1872?). I know no more
about them and it is high time that I got more serious about researching them
<g>.

Rita, I don't know of Isabelle GRAHAM but there's every possibility of a link
somewhere. Do you know which area of Tyrone she and William WOODS came from?

Subject: Hello!
I'm Rita Snyder of the U.S. Just curious if you have any ancestors with regard
to Isabelle Graham of Tyrone County, Northern Ireland. She is my Great, Great
Grandmother. She married my GGrandfather William Woods who came to America in
1843.
Hope to hear from you.
Rita Woods Snyder
