I just became aware of this virtual lecture being presented on Wednesday,
February 24, 2021 at 7:00 pm EST by the Conococheague Institute in south
central Pennsylvania. It concerns the Scots and Scots-Irish who left Scotland
and the UK following the collapse of the Jacobite Rebellion when the wearing of
traditional Highland clothing was forbidden. Many of these people ended up in
Virginia and Pennsylvania. I will ask the presenter if the lecture will be
recorded as the time of day would be very inconvenient for someone in County
Tyrone, and perhaps even more so for those in Australia. If you wish to see
