Just to add to this recent discussion .... I have Alexander Marshall Wark -- born in Taughboyne Parish, co. Donegal (probably at or near Lisfannon) on 19 January 1842, relocated to Langley Prairie (Fort Langley) in British Columbia, Canada where he died on 13 January 1932 (as a retired farmer).
His father (in Ireland) was Joseph Wark. Informant on death was his son Robert James Wark, of Vancouver, BC. My interest emanates from the fact that his second wife was Finwell Hamilton Mitchell, also from Lisfannon, who went out west to join him in BC (her family at Cullion, Donagheady Parish, co. Tyrone).
