That's a tragic story!
The place in Co. Tyrone you are looking is OMAGH. There are two parishes you 
should be looking for records wise; the town itself is situated in Drumragh 
parish, but Cappagh parish  enters the northern end of Omagh. You should focus 
your research on the parish files for both

 and 
www.cotyroneireland.com/menus/cappagh.html<http://www.cotyroneireland.com/menus/cappagh.html>
  Adams families were prevalent in Cappagh especially. Emigrants from both 
parishes would identify as coming from Omagh (the nearest post town).

Looking for any information about the ADAMS FAMILY who lived in Omaha, County 
Tyrone.  They left via Londonderry in 1833. Two parents and six children, both 
parents died and were buried at sea on the voyage to Canada.
