Chances are that you upgraded to MacOS X 10.5.3
Try rebuilding erlang --without-hipe or reinstall via macports
with the +universal option.

Strange. I don't know what to make of it. I'm starting to give up the
notion of deploying on OpenSolaris, for now. This is doubly annoying
because 0.7.2 worked fine.
