Hi everyone, has anyone had any success replacing the rubber covers on the control yoke u joints with something other than the original covers? The u joints are fine so I plan on putting wheel bearing grease all over the joint but then I will need to seal it with something. I imagine some of you have already done this and am just looking for ideas. The rubbers don't appear to come off without breaking the holding ring and a new joint is $174.
