Much thanks to Jan for his reassurance that the Coupe muffler is indeed baffleless. All the time I've had my plane, I've checked the muffler and clamps frequently, but never looked up the exhaust! Among the things I didn't see in the Skyport catalog were: Erco part 415-22016-1, which is a bearing or bushing for the elevator bell crank horn (the bolt goes through it). Erco 415-40435, which is a return spring for the Coupe carb heat box. Also, I had a tube changed on my Firestone 500x5 while on a trip, and it appears the mechanic forgot to replace one of the 2 big washers on the outside of the wheel bearings. If you are familiar with this wheel you may know what I mean. I need one of those. Lastly, I have the rams horn yokes, and I guess just from holding the yoke, the attach holes have become a little out of round and enlarged over the years, so now there's slop, and my AP worries a could form. Anyone have a bright idea to save the shaft? Does anyone have an extra control shaft in their collection? Thanks, and hope everyone's having a wonderful 2001 so far.
