Hello all, I just refurbished my control yokes and they turned out great. I have the rams-horn style, so this wont work on the round type. I roughed them up with some steel wool and painted them gloss black epoxy. Then I bought some large black heat shrink tubing and cut it to the length of the grips. After tightening them up with the heat they really look good, because the heat shrink conforms to all the bumps on the grip. you end up with a nice smooth rubbery grip for about $6.00 worth of heat shrink tubing.
