I got a ride in a brand new Bonanaza A 36 2 day WOW I could get to like that plane It has Garmin 540 and a 430 and biult in T cas with enunciator a really sexy female voice. The ground speed we attained was 198 knots@ 3000' geeez that sucker moves. Hurray to Georgia nice lesson Keep it on the center line Kiddo sounds like you are in your learning curve and then some keep up the work you will be a pilot soon. About the paint, I lost a good friend too that painted with Imron w/o the sophisticated respirater and it sealed his lungs shut--- a lousy way to go he was a great painter too bad. In case you are curious about my rebuild on my engine I'm trying to get the mechanic to solidify the total cost to me so that I can have a handle on this deal so far he tells me it's right about $ 7000 .00 and that it would be prety close to a Zero time engine . My question is how and what is the criterion to call an engine zero time or call it a major overhaul. He uses the terminalogy intermixd Those of you that are A&P etc let me know it will help me when figuring out my next step.
