I just took a chap for his first Coupe ride and now he's all enthused to buy a Coupe. He was looking at a 66 I think for a real bundle of money in one of the publications that has a bunch of classified ads. There was also a Mooney M-10 advertised for a bundle. It seems to me I heard of a Coupe fairly recently with the E tail, low time and a C-85. Does this ring a bell? I should mention that this guy does NOT have a ticket at this time. I suggested to him to start his flight training the Cessna 150 route and look for a Coupe while his training is progressing. He could build time in his Coupe and take his check ride in the Cessna. I tasked him to be a lookout for traffic and he was calling out traffic at our home field when we were still well over 5 miles away. His vision must be really phenomenal !
