[COUPERS] Alon 5624F some history

With the help of friend Dr Charlie Eck. Alon N6547Q. Charlie was kind enough to do some leg work and look at 24F for me.   The Owners Mr. and Mrs., William Bell contacted someone (not really sure who) To try and find out the value of the project. While trying to help them arrive at a price I enlisted help from a few friends to keep things on the up and up.   We came up with what we all felt to be a fair price. After telling them what we came up with I offered a bit higher price. All along I told them I was interested in her. And they talked it over with their friend(s). The long and short is I got her. And to tell the truth they even trying to talk me down while I was buying her. But she is worth every cent I paid for her. Fair is fair.    Bill Bell started this project some twenty years ago. She was apart when he paid about $3,000 or $3,500. Bill owned a C182 at the time so he was not I a rush to get it done. At about the time he retired other things popped up like traveling etc. The Alon was in the barn so no hangar payments or the likes. I think we all can related to how things get put aside.     For some time Bill has been fighting Prostate cancer. It is winning now.
