On the way home this evening, I passed Evergreen Airport. Our bank is
just
accross the street, and it was pay day for my wife. I saw a familiar
profile in the pattern. Hopped out of the car just in time to see the
newly restored 08H settle in. It did need to do the turn at the end
to get
onto the sorta-closed north/south runway. That's where it's hangar
is,
complete with proud new flyer!
I thought about the many Ercoupe-type airplanes that are probably
stuffed away in barns and such like. Maybe some day they will go
through
the restoration that 08H got. I guess that will be the way `coupes go
into
the future. Way to go, Alan!
