Skyport's master cylinder STC is a much worthwhile improvement. After applying it, the brakes feel like a 'modern' airplane. Nice, linear application, but scads of power. It really makes the Clevelands act like Clevelands! At the same time, it gets away from the nothing-or-skidding feeling the stock master cylinder sometimes seems to create. It's a bit of a bitch to get installed. Do NOT believe that you can re-use the old hose. It is the wrong length. It has taken a set over the years. It's pretty much shot. It sure isn't likely to tolerate the added oomph of the new master cylinder. Figure on having a custom length of Aeroquip 303 made up for this project. Don't rip out the old one until you have the bits to make that hose! Above all, when working down there under the floorboards, take care not to commit an accidental recto-cranial inversion!
