The 2002 National Convention will be at Mason, Michigan, on the 3rd weekend in June. Mason is south-east of Lansing in the south-center of the Lower peninsula of Michigan. It has been organized by Marv and Ruth Dunlap, regional directors of the EOC and rebuilders of the ERCO 4-place. They'll have housing on the campus of the University in Lansing about 15 miles from the airport (with busses) since motels in the area run $100/night. They've also indicated there'll be some good events. I'm looking forward to this one. The 2003 convention is open for groups who might want to volunteer. The only suggestion put forward so far is the grass airport at Antique Airfield, Blakesburg, Iowa. Russ Jensen is looking in to that option but it's in the speculation about possibilities stage. I bet other proposals would be well entertained and should be directed to Skip Carden.
