Removed the main landing gear from the Coupe for restoration and noticed that the brake pads are oval shaped. I was under the impression that they were round. The picture in the parts manual favors the round pucks. What shape are they supposed to be? Second question. The bumper for the main gear is a piece of rubber and I bought new ones, however, Can someone describe the holder or bracket for this piece. My coupe had springs in place of the bumper that limited down travel (for whatever reason, but I suppose they kept the gear closer to the wing but severely limited the stroke of the shock absorber).
