Hi Jim, 4 consecutive issues of "Sport Aviation" dated December 2000 thru March 2001 featured detailed instructions on painting, including all the possible equipment and the pros and cons of each system, and prep and actual painting techniques.
If you have access to these past issues, Ron Alexander did a great job.
