[COUPERS-TECH please forgive this one-time
off-topic intrusion]

I don't know how much information you far-flung
Coupers are getting about local needs around
the events here in New York, so I'm going to
provide some.

The Red Cross has said what they need more
than anything, now, is financial support.

Art said we should talk on Saturday at the
Northeast gathering if there is anything Ercoupers
can do. It occurs that some others of you may want
to do something to help out.

Personally, last week the State of New Jersey called me
to tell me they didn't want the sales tax on the purchase
of N99387, because it was a 'casual sale.' I'm going to take
that 'found money' round it out to $1000.00 and give it to
WTC relief funds.

I hereby throw down the gauntlet for someone to beat it (but
if you can't please do what you can).

My wife's company (Agere) has established a matching grant program.
Please check and see if you can avail yourself of something
along those lines. It can double your contribution. It will be used
to double mine.
