I certainly would agree if the term GA only applied to guys with 'coupes and C-150's sitting in their personal hangars. These are mostly "fun" flyers and maybe are "expendable". But there are plenty of us who work in GA who are currently sitting around waiting for someone to make a decision... to tell us what we need to do... what we need to change... whatever, so that we can continue operating GA aircraft for business purposes, in my case, research and development. Part 91 includes many types of aviation. The small operator with a line full of trainers can't put a hold on his bills, and his ability to meet them requires that his aircraft operate. It is probably "convenient" to ground ALL of GA, but I wouldn't call it very wise. We are very willing to do our share to fix this problem, but I don't think we should be required to take the brunt of a problem we are not responsible for. I could be wrong but then again I would rather sit it out for a little longer and take away this means of escape or evasion for the bastards.
