Hi everyone, Well, I'm done and I cant believe it went this quick. Tomorrow is my party for the return-to-service of my G model. I found, and printed up a history of the previous owners of my coupe. I am owner #15. The first guy to own it picked it up from ERCO only 10 days after it was done being built. (wonder if he had to use oven mitts to touch it?) Lots of people are coming over, from work, church and some coupers from the area. Also the neighbors. It's really going to be special, getting all the neighbors together at one time, because it hasnt happened since I've lived on this street (11 yrs). Just think- an Ercoupe bringing all those people together. It's a very sobering time now- and I am sure that I will have a hard time waiting for the go-ahead for my test flights. Last recorded flight of this plane was in 1992. Anyway- I will take digital pix and if anyone wants them I will email.
