----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I called the FAA on Friday to ask if I could ferry my ragwing Coupe on a 18 minute hop over to the hanger to get it out of the weather as I was caught on the ground at a nearby airport when the grounding occurred. Resounding, uncaring, NO. I pointed out to the Fed/FAA employee that if this goes on long enough that at some point it might even begin to effect Federal Payroll employees but until that point aint nothing going to happen because the decision makers are insulated from the results of the problem. I understand the situation but sanity must prevail at some point over blanket decisions. ED
