----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Craig, I own a 66 Alon and at 5'10" with the seat in the middle position I occasionally bump my head. I have had a few 6 plus footers along from time to time and with the passenger seat all the way back they generally start complaining about leg room after about an hour or so. My experience has been that a coupe without rudder peddles is a much better fit for a taller pilot. I have also heard of people modifying the seat brackets allowing the seat to be moved much further back and giving the taller pilot quite a bit more leg and head room as they can recline slightly. Unfortunately I don't know if this is a legal modification. I believe there is an STC for adjustable Cessna seats which may get you the same results. Good luck... Bill W.
