Well, I towed the G model out to Chandler field on Sunday evening. The looks on people's faces seeing an airplane being towed behind a pickup is priceless. I made a very simple towbar with a rod that goes through the center of the front axle, about 5 feet long. Towed about 20 mph- went just fine through the city streets about 7 miles. I put the wings on yesterday. I have put the cotter pins in the bolts but havent connected the wire and pitot lines. Also still have to attach the ailerons. Still waiting for pictures to develop from the celebration gig. Tomorrow I will hook up everything and do some taxiing- no flying yet, I still havent bought insurance yet and wont until I know that it's ready to fly. I'll let you know when it flys.
