I've been up and down that coast a couple of times. The coldest winter I've ever experienced, was one July driving that Harley up the coast hiway. 65 degrees and 100 % humidity on the Coast. Then the road turned up into the mountains and it was instantly 100 degrees. The bummer was that we ended back down on the coast. But, the beauty of it all was well worth the discomfort.
