----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any
advice in this forum.]----Hi all
Now here is an offer you can't refuse, well, maybe you can if you cannot
read a disc on your computor.
Here is your opportunity to view hundreds of pictures from my archives
which I am happy to share with you all.
Just send me your name and address and a $5 bill (no checks please) and I
will despatch a disc to you which should arrive withing a few days The $5
will just cover the cost of the disc to me, cost of the envelope and
postage, I might make 25 cents on the deal, but that is about all my time
is worth these days in retirement.
The disc contains pictures of my days training with the Royal Air Force
back in 1948 - 1949 in the then Southern Rhodesia, (Zimbabwe today).
A gallery of my airplane pictures, random selection.
A gallery of the overhaul I am in the middle of with my Alon A2A (Reg.
G-BKIN)
"Nigel's Pictures" Nigel is a pal of mine who is a camera and airplane
enthusiast.
Oshkosh 2000 (Nigel attended and took the pics).
PFA 2000 (again Nigel's Pics) The PFA Rally is the UK equivalent of the
EAA meeting in the US.
RAF Days. Pics from my service flying when I was a fighter pilot flying
Meteors etc.
Sun 'n Fun 2001 (Nigel again, he gets everywhere, his pics).
Tatenhill. This is a small airfield in the UK Midlands north of Birmingham
where I attended a Fly-In in my Aircoupe.
Tridents. For the final three years of my airline career I flew these all
over Europe, the Trident is similar to your Boeing 727.
"with Gordon to Caernarfon" Caernarfon is in North Wales and a pleasant
short flight from Blackpool where I am based, I go often for a Sunday
Lunch.
So there it is, write me at Dave Vernon, Flat 5, 28 Park Road, Southport,
PR9 9LA, UK with your address and the $5 note.
Hope those who get a disc will put a few comments on what they think of
it.
Happy, safe flying.
Dave Vernon
