Here in Western Washington we had a week of crummy wx forecast to go along with the opening of "enhanced" Class B. Well I got home from A & P School, and the wx was perfect. My spouse followed me to my old tiedown spot where we left a car then drove me down to Olympia. It took me 20 minutes to fly home, and about 45 minutes to drive the 5 miles from the airport home. Some lost soul was poised on the railing of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge about to leap to his doom. Man!! I thought I had troubles!! What on earth would cause a person to do this? Hopefully he decided to find another way to cure his troubles. Anyhow HOME HOME at last!! :-) Here's hoping the other 15 Class B airspaces will open. KTIW was busier than a bee. Lots of your number 4 or number 5 behind the XXX calls from the tower. It looked like 5 or 6 waiting to take the active when landed. I bet this weekend will be REAL busy if there is any kind of VFR at all.
